This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. The CIO office is looking to hire a Graduate intern for its Modeling team. The team develops models for investment portfolio management (IPM) and balance sheet interest rate risk (IRR) management. These include models for mortgage default and prepayments, interest rate propagation and rates and balances for deposits. The models are used to measure and manage risk as well as for relative value assessment. These models are key to managing interest rate risk as well as positioning PNCs balance sheet to meet earnings objectives.
