The Assistant Women’s Softball Coach provides support and assistance with all aspects of the intercollegiate softball program. This position instructs student‑athletes in the rules and fundamentals of softball while also working to develop the whole student both in and out of the classroom. What You’ll Do: - Support the Head Coach in the daily operation of a competitive NCAA Division II softball program - Plan, conduct, and assist with practices, skill instruction, and game‑day strategy - Recruit and retain qualified student‑athletes in alignment with NCAA and university standards - Mentor student‑athletes in academic success, personal development, and leadership - Collaborate with Athletic Performance staff on conditioning programs to enhance performance and reduce injury risk - Ensure compliance with all NCAA Division II, MIAA, and institutional rules - Coordinate with Admissions, Compliance, and other campus departments to support student‑athlete enrollment and eligibility - Assist with camps, clinics, community engagement activities, and fundraising events - Contribute to team travel planning and occasional team transportation - Serve as a positive role model who reflects Newma...
