REGISTERED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN: 40HPW - Evening Shift Duties/Responsibilities: It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required. - Assists in the preparation of irrigation, intravenous admixture solutions, and other, using aseptic technique. - (must be able to perform repetitive hand motions for IV Room assignments and prepacking.) - Fills unit dose, Automated Dispensing Machines (ADM), stock requisitions and maintain inventory levels in OR, Endo & OB. - Delivers unit dose, ADM refills, intravenous solution and necessary pharmaceutical supplies to the nursing units. (must be able to walk and/or stand for assigned shift) - Fills medication labels, subject to final check by a pharmacist. - Prepares pre-packaged medications in commonly used quantities. - Assists with inventory control of supplies and medications. Receives and shelves supplies and medications. Performs cycle counts and monthly review of stock for expired medications. - Cleans pharmacy equipment, utensils and work areas....
