Project Engineer - Automation

Job description

Position Summary The Project Engineer’s role is an integral part of the project execution process and forms an integral link between all departments, procedures & resources involved in its success. The Project Engineer’s primary responsibility is to lead and manage technical aspects associated with Boost-Level engineering projects in Lincolnton. This will include Continuous Improvement initiatives, new product introductions, and manufacturing support/problem solving projects. The Product Development Process includes (but not limited to) the specification, ordering, development, qualification, installation, validation & production ramp-up of automation equipment for closures. This process requires the position to apply internal standards, procedures, and activity necessary for effective project execution. The position will report to the Engineering Manager but will have dotted-line responsibilities to the Boost Project Manager and work closely with the automation engineers and operations/maintenance staff.
