Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Medical-Surgical team on a Full-time basis. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for administering direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or other qualified staff. This position may also perform general clerical duties to ensure the smooth operation of the unit. Essential Functions: - Assumes direct patient care responsibilities as assigned by the Registered Nurse and/or other qualified staff. - Assists patients in ADLs in an effective and timely manner - Ensures patients’ safety - Performs clerical duties to assist in the smooth operation of the unit - Participates in continued personal growth and development - Performs other related duties as assigned or requested Position Requirements: - Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program - High School Graduate or Equivalent - Prefer previous experience in a hospital and/or healthcare setting - BLS certification within 90 days of hire - Non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar - Computer Competency: Basic Computer S...
