Job Summary: Adjuncts are hired to teach on a semester basis. Provides academic instruction and student academic support for assigned classes; performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction; develops instructional methods for their assigned course(s) which pertain to the course(s) learning outcomes and course catalog description; adheres to college policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: Masters in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Chemical Education or Biochemistry OR Master in Education (science) with at least 5 years full-time chemistry teaching experience.*Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Such as those listed above Licensing Requirements: Hiring Range: No less than $1,442 per credit hour/work load rate - Valid Driver's License (Standard) - PA ACT-15 (Standard) - Please note that this position requires employees to comply with PA Act 15.
