Job Description Team Health and Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) in Portsmouth, Ohio. The LPN will be providing Correctional Medical care for those housed at at the Scioto County Sheriff's Office. Position Highlights: - Full- Time Day Shift - We staff from 7a- 7pm ( 12 hour Shifts) - Adult population Job Duties: - Provide a range of medical care to include primary, addiction, urgent and behavioral health care - Free from coding, billing, insurance, satisfaction surveys, ICD-10 and DRGS - Care is evidence based. We address needs, not wants - Vast array of medical pathology that is not seen in any one other healthcare location - Work is socially meaningful as patients are a socially marginalized and lack ordinary access to medical care whether due to lack of insurance, mental illness or homelessness (**for anyone interested in addiction medicine or mental health) - Large degree of medical autonomy and free of micromanaging.
