Title: Cardiac Sonographer 1 Department Org: Heart Station - 109070 Employee Classification: B8 - Unclass Contingent AFSCME HSC Bargaining Unit: AFSCME HSC: Primary Location: HSC H: Shift: 1: Start Time: 8:00am End Time: 4:30pm Posted Salary: Float: False Rotate: True: On Call: True: Travel: False: Weekend/Holiday: False: Job Description: As a member of the health care team, performs non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing including M-mode echocardiograms, 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional Sector scans, Cardiac Doppler, Colorflow Imaging, and measurement of Ejection Fraction by echocardiogram on patients who are adolescent, and adults at UTMC. Assists the physician in the performance of Transesophageal Echocardiograms. Performs Stress Exercise Echocardiograms in the Heart Station with the Stress Laboratory personnel.
