JOB SUMMARY: The Distribution Center Lead is responsible for training and directing team members to safely and efficiently unload, sort, and load cartons and pallets in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: KPI-Driven Leadership: Gather, analyze, and apply Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)—including Cost Per Carton, Productivity, and Downtime—to guide team performance, identify trends, and implement process improvements. Effective Communication: Ensure consistent and transparent communication across team members and management. Lead clear shift handovers and keep all stakeholders aligned on operational goals and progress. Operational Oversight: Supervise and actively participate in the accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and sorting of product to meet daily throughput and completion targets. Workforce Optimization: Provide clear direction and assign tasks effectively to balance workloads and maximize productivity. Adjust labor deployment in real-time to meet changing demands. Training & Development: Support the onboarding of new associates and ensure all team members receive ongoing training to enhance skills, ensure safety compliance, and promote professional growth....
