Shipping & Receiving Quality Specialist

Job description

The Quality Specialist I maintains and improves the quality management system in accordance with company policies and procedures. They review incoming materials, measure products that arrive with a variety of tools and makes sure they are within tolerance levels set by Delkor and works collaboratively with Production, Procurement, and the Machine Shop to provide an ongoing inventory of parts necessary to fill customer machine orders. The Quality Specialist I job description is intended to point out major duties and authorities within the position, but it is not limited to these items. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Review incoming material, in-process production and finished goods to ensure conformance to specifications; conduct visual inspection and measurement tests; help coordinate and approve the return/rework of nonconforming materials.
