Rate of pay: $24.00 per hour The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida. We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Line Cook. Line Cook candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. We currently have the following shifts available: PRN (as needed), need to be able to work weekends. Line Cooks at The Glenview at Pelican Bay are responsible for the preparation of all food items as per standardized recipes. Benefits: - Prepares all soups, stocks, sauces; boils, braises and roasts items as per planned menus and standardized recipes. - Prepares and serves all sautéed, fried, grilled, steamed and baked items as per planned menus and standardized recipes. - Prepares or directs the preparation of all food served, following standard recipes and special diet orders and in accordance with established portion control procedures. - Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, so that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved. - Inspect special diet trays to assure the correct diet is se...
