Job Description Extraction Superintendent- Valdosta, GA This is a full-time, exempt position. Position Summary: The Extraction Superintendent will coordinate and oversee day-to-day activities of the Valdosta soybean crush plant. This position is responsible for the safe, successful and progressive day-to-day operational activities and maintaining compliance with company policies, government regulation and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNR, FDA, USDA, FRA, HACCP, etc.). The position also is responsible to deliver quality specs and standards, commercial demands, improve processes, train and develop team members. Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for safe and efficient operations in all areas in compliance with all environmental and regulatory requirements and guaranteeing quality and standards of the products meet the expectations of our customers and our operations. - Respond to plant, process, personnel, product, and environmental emergencies. - Ensure successful day-to-day operation of the Processing facility, in areas of safety, environmental, quality, and production. - Work closely with the Plant Manager to carry out plant specific goals and objectives.
