This position primarily assists in sorting, handling, and processing (fresh cut) lumber while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. The role requires adaptability, physical endurance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Rotate through the line and related areas to support production needs Sort, stack, and organize lumber based on size, grade, and quality Remove defective or unusable materials from the sorting line Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and minor troubleshooting Perform general labor duties including cleanup, debris removal, and material handling Fill in for absent employees to ensure continuous workflow and minimal downtime Operate equipment such as forklifts.
