Job Summary The Corporate Security Officer is responsible, for providing a safe and secure work environment for Nassau associates, building tenants, visitors, contractors, and the public, and for protecting Nassau ’s physical assets. While also demonstrating an elevated level of professionalism at all times. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Acts as an ambassador to the building, greeting associates, tenants, and visitors with a positive attitude. - Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company associates to maintain a cooperative work environment. - Keeps reception area organized and clean. - Provides direction/assistance to associates, tenants, and visitors in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. - Ensures building and occupant safety. Makes interior and exterior tours of the buildings, parking garages, and grounds, checking for security and safety problems; resolving or reporting such findings as required. - Controls access in/out of Nassau facilities by checking associate, visitor, contractor and tenant I.D. Badges, monitoring sign-in sheets, issuing visitor ID badges, and operating the closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV). - Operates the compu...
