Position Summary The Ting Zhang Lab in the Department of Molecular Microbiology at WashU Medicine is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our research team. The successful candidate will investigate the functions of bile metabolites induced by bacterial infection. We aim to advance our understanding of how infection-stimulated bile metabolites influence intestinal defense mechanisms and disease outcomes. This work involves a multidisciplinary approach, including next-generation sequencing, bacterial genetics, host genetics and metabolomics.
