Location: UHealth Tower: The UHealth System at the University of Miami has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Pharmacy Technician 2 (U) CORE JOB SUMMARY: The Pharmacist Technician 2 (U) prepares medications for patients under the guidance of a Pharmacist. Assists the Pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions, price-checking, restocking of drugs, and assists with basic compounding. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information and maintains patient records. 2. Assists pharmacists in filling orders and preparing labels for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals. 3. Receives and stocks incoming medical supplies and drugs. 4.
