POSITION SUMMARY: - Responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and refurbishment of aircraft cabin interiors. This position focuses on both functional and aesthetic components, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards such as those set by the FAA. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES: - Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on interior assemblies and subassemblies such as seats, cabinets, panels, partitions, divan, and In-flight entertainment equipment. - Conduct laminate (tedlar) repair and replacement, including surface preparation and bonding. - Complete full recovery of interior parts (stripping, sanding, rebuilding surfaces). - Apply primers, paints, and finishes to interior components to achieve high-quality appearance standards. - Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. - Make continuity checks on work in process and complete while following appropriate clean-as-you-go shop practices. - May conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications. - May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble,...
