But we all share one goal: to improve the world responsibly and safely. KBR is seeking an Engineering Technician VI to support our SMAS II Program for KBR’s Science and Space division . KBR provides lifting device and equipment (LDE) and pressure vessels and pressurized systems (PVS) engineering and engineering technicians at all Goddard Space Flight Centers (GSFC), including the Wallops Flight Facility. This position will work onsite at Wallops. The Engineering Technician responsibilities include: - Troubleshooting and inspecting lifting devices and equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. - Determining extent of repair required. - Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts. - Cleaning, lubricating and performing other minor maintenance work. - Performing lifting device and equipment inspections, minor repairs, installations and respond to possible breakdown calls. - Utilizing daily opportunities to train and instruct, along with more formal training, is required. -...
