About Us Prestage Farms is a producer of quality pork and poultry. Headquartered in the southeastern United States, and with locations in NC, SC, MS, OK, and Iowa, Prestage Farms employs over 1,000 employees and contracts with over 400 farm families to produce pork and poultry to feed our world. The Swine Animal Caretaker performs various daily activities relating to the farrowing and breeding of swine and their health and welfare. Duties including, but not limited to, monitoring house/room environment, caring and feeding of animals, farm sanitation, animal health and well-being, safety and housekeeping, animal movement, animal science and husbandry, and animal tracking data and all associated paperwork.
