Description CT Imaging Technologist - PRN - Provides courteous and efficient patient care. - Prepares for and performs all radiographic examinations by positioning patients and adjusting equipment factors for optimum exposures. - Transports, transfers and positions patients in a manner that is safe for the patient. - Processes CT films and evaluates finished radiographs for technical quality. - Maintains the cleanliness of the radiographic and associated minor equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures. - Performs patient care paperwork such as logging clients, releasing and tracking films, filing and retrieving reports, answering the telephone, taking messages, and all other duties pertinent to this position. - Follows protocol to ensure radiation safety, and quality assurance policies and procedures are met. - Is knowledgeable of current policies and procedures regarding hospital personnel and the Radiology Department and adheres to them appropriately. - Completes the annual mandatory training and CPR every year. - Knowledge of emergent situations, appropriate notification of Health Care Provider, and appropriate use of on-call staff. - Interviews, ori...
