Department: 02190 GCMG Urgent Care: Huntersville - Immediate Care Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: PRN. 12 hour shifts with weekends. Will be used at other locations if help is needed. Will be crossed trained to work front desk (Patient Service Specialist) and used when needed Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35 THIS POSITION REQUIRES WEEKDAY, WEEKEND, AND HOLIDAY REQUIRMENTS. THIS IS NOT A WEEKEND ONLY POSITION. YOU MUST HAVE AVAILABILITY DURING THE WEEKDAY. 12- HOUR SHIFTS: Major Responsibilities: - Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care. - Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.). - Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered. - Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking.
