The Zhu Laboratory at Mayo Clinic Rochester is seeking a part-time Animal Care Technician to provide high-quality care for zebrafish models, with opportunities to also work with murine models. Primary responsibilities include routine animal husbandry and colony maintenance, such as feeding, water quality monitoring, health assessments, breeding, embryo sanitization, and cleaning of tanks and facility spaces. The successful candidate will also assist laboratory members in monitoring tumor development in zebrafish and and mouse models and in harvesting tissues for downstream analysis.
