Maintenance Technician

Job description

Position Summary This position works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on complex production equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical). Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability, and yield. Perform equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoot and diagnose more complex equipment problems. Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. This position is 1st shift M-F and is 100% onsite at our Southington, CT manufacturing facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Work as a team with other technicians. - Provide direct support to the production team for maintenance in performing complex troubleshooting and equipment improvements. - Specify ongoing maintenance requirements. - Act as a technical resource to the maintenance technicians and escalate concerns to supervisor when necessary. - Assume technical leadership role by providing guidance and mentoring for less experienced technicians. - Responsible for the successful completion of assi...
