We are looking for a versatile and well-rounded Scientist and Engineer with a strong background in heat transfer to join our Linear Accelerator Systems group. This position is within the hardware group for the radiation producing subsystem on our Radiation Therapy machines. The candidate will become part of an interdisciplinary team that also includes microwave engineers, material scientists and electrical as well as mechanical engineers. The candidate will be analyzing and solving challenging heat transfer problems that result from the interaction of concentrated electron beams and high-power microwaves with various materials of hardware components.
