Description: The Undergraduate College Intern position is for currently enrolled students who have attended at least one year of their a bachelors program. The Summer Internship Program offers a variety of internship positions across Emory departments for either 10 or 12 weeks depending on the department needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Leads procurement training, including writing and preparing training materials. - Reviews purchase requisitions and converts them into purchase orders; reviews and processes change orders and purchase order closures. - Verifies pricing, terms, and preferred supplier usage. - Works with campus requestors and suppliers to obtain quotes, order status updates, and resolve concerns. - Makes independent decisions of sole source procurements by evaluating and determining the validity of the requestor's documentation. - Provides professional procurement advice to departments an...
