Your Role The Purchasing Officer is responsible for ordering inventory and managing suppliers to ensure on time delivery is achieved at the best value and at the required quality levels. The role will support all products lines and objectives are to meet requirement dates and to meet PDD or customer needs. In addition to Stakeholder Management, Goods Inwards/Outwards Management your Key Responsibilities will include: Safety: - Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) - Maintain zero accidents and incidents while ensuring compliance to all EH&S regulations - Report all incidences promptly and in accordance with the safety management system. Purchasing: Other duties as required. - Review and comply with all DWI instructions relating to relative area. - Oversee and ensure all documentation (electronic or hard copy) is signed off/stamped as tasks are completed progressively. - Source and procure aircraft parts, components and materials from approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory requirements (CASA, FAA, EASA). - Lead resolution of supplier disputes including invoice discrepancies, delivery shortfalls, quality escapes and pricing disagreements, escalating where requi...
