Job description

We are hiring an OEM Catering & Sales Manager! The primary responsibility for this role is to sell and detail social and corporate catering events with and without guest rooms for the hotel. Primary sales efforts are in selling banquet food & beverage with or without guest rooms, upsell previously contracted groups turned over to the CSM, and maximizing hotel revenues. Negotiate with clients throughout the planning process, create and finalize all event documents with distribution throughout the hotel departments as needed. Conduct site tours and client meetings to review all event arrangements, suggest menus, bar set up, room layout as per policy and procedure. Daily solicitation for new business, contract negotiation and review, coordinating local marketing efforts and facilitating a high level of communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service for each catering event and other duties as assigned.
