TITLE: Assistant - Paper Packaging POSITION OBJECTIVE: The machine assistant will be responsible for keeping the machines supplied with paper, ink, glue, and cartons while learning the mechanics of the flexographic and converting machines. QUALIFICATIONS: - All new machinery. Clean work environment. Air conditioning. - First and second shift hours – Monday – Friday. - Previous machine operating and packaging experience preferred. - Experience with large rolls of paper or plastic. - Knowledge and use of various hand tools assigned including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc. - Good verbal and written skills required. - Basic Math required. - Maintain a safe working environment on production lines. - Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. - Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
