Job description

Brief Description: The Material Handler is responsible for safely loading, unloading, staging, and moving materials within the facility using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment. This role plays a key part in supporting manufacturing operations by managing inventory, ensuring timely material flow, and maintaining accurate records in Ulterra’s ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, efficient, and safety-focused work environment. Detailed Description: - Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials; verify accuracy against packing slips and enter data into the ERP system. - Issue and distribute products and supplies according to work orders and production schedules. - Perform material staging activities to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing processes. - Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories. - Band, wrap, and prepare pallets and materials for storage or shipment. - Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Purchasing departments to ensure materials meet inspection standards prior to storage. - Handle shipping and rece...
