Job Description Summary This is technical troubleshooting and customer facing role in GE Vernova’s Wind Remote Operations Center in Schenectady, NY. This is a shift based role that needs to be performed on campus. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Able to proficiently perform the remote troubleshooting of power assets escalated from the Fleet Support Operators using digital tools; - Read, understand, execute and seek opportunities to highlight updates as needed for Fault handling procedures. - Document and communicate the technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures - Adhere to applicable regulatory compliance requirements as applicable to local requirements; - Provide situationally dependent monitoring on request for portions of the monitored fleet; - Support (and potentially execute) Parameter and Software updates as needed or requested by leadership; - Provide timely communications/escalate with the re...
