Job Summary: Medical Technologist (Medical Laboratory Scientist) Section Supervisor resolves quickly and efficiently testing and equipment technical problems, oversees operations and develops recommendations for new or alternative equipment, methods, or materials. In addition to performing regular Medical Technology duties, assigns, trains, reviews and participates in the work of a group of Medical Technologist engaged in the performance of a variety of standardized laboratory tests within a prescribed departmental area.
