Your Team Responsibilities The MSCI Institute is seeking a technically ambitious summer intern to explore the frontier of AI-powered research and automation within a leading global investment intelligence firm. This role sits at the intersection of applied AI, capital markets research, and enterprise tool development. You will work directly with the Institute's Research Director to identify, prototype, and evaluate opportunities where AI agents can augment and accelerate high-impact research workflows, spanning capital markets, geoeconomics, and sustainability and clmate analytics. Your Key Responsibilities: Your skills and experience that will help you excel - AI Agent Development — Design, build, and test AI agents using MSCI's suite of AI tools and APIs, translating research and analytical workflows into automated, scalable solutions. - Agentification Scoping — Map existing Institute research functions and processes to identify high-value candidates for automation or AI augmentation, producing a structured inventory of opportunities with implementation recommendations. - Applied AI Research — Conduct original research on emerging AI methodologies — including multi-agent systems,...
