About the role Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their Surgical Ward on a permanent part time basis. Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has been supporting the health of people living in and around Rockhampton for more than a century. Our heritage-listed Kenmore building was purchased by the Sisters of Mercy in 1915 and opened as the first Mater Hospital in Central Queensland. Today, our 136-bed facility features five operating theatres, a private emergency service and a wide range of specialised clinical services. Salary range: $41.73 - $53.53 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits! What you’ll be doing: Our Registered Nurses provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with other multidisciplinary healthcare team members. The delivery of care extends to patient advocacy with particular consideration to patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs that contribute to optimal clinical outcomes.
