Description PURPOSE: This position is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of production equipment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Basic knowledge of mechanical and or electrical skills preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS: · Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. · Ability to write correspondence. · Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to others within the work group. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: · Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. OTHER SKILL AND ABILITIES: · Diligent, punctual and disciplined. Able to manage own time to meet objectives. · Flexible and willing to adapt work pace and methods to handle changes, prioritization and meet deadlines · Autonomy – is able to work alone and assume responsibility after and appropriate training period.
