Powers Management Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic: Department: Operations Job Reports To: Director, Facility Operations Status: Non-Exempt Major Responsibilities/Activities: - Perform general building maintenance and repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical and HVAC support. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and facility equipment. - Perform small engine repair and maintenance. - Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on building systems and equipment. - Respond to maintenance work orders and emergency calls in a timely manner. - Plumbing fixture maintenance: water heaters, sinks and faucets, toilets, and drains. - Maintain preventive maintenance programs. - Maintenance and repair of the facility, including suites, door hardware, locks, woodworking, and other special projects as assigned. - Assist other departments and Operations sub-departments as directed. - Assist in other projects as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements: - High School diploma or GED. - 3-5 years’ experience in general maintenance. - Basic computer skills. - General facility maintenance experience. - Ability to communicate and understand complex...
