What you’ll do: We are seeking a Commodity Buyer to support procurement operations for our mills across Western Canada. This role is responsible for sourcing agricultural commodities and building strong vendor relationships while navigating grain markets and supply dynamics. Procure commodities for mill operations across Western Canada Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, while identifying and onboarding new vendors Source and purchase agricultural products, including grains and agri-based commodities directly from farms Procure animal by-products, including fats, oils, and meat & bone meal Execute and manage basis contracts in alignment with market conditions Monitor and engage with the grain futures market to support purchasing decisions and risk management Ensure tim...
