Job Overview: The Hydraulic Shovel Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Komatsu hydraulic mining shovels and related equipment. This role ensures equipment reliability and performance by addressing complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues in a safe, efficient, and professional manner while supporting customer operations in the field. Key Job Responsibilities: Safety & Compliance: - Demonstrate a strong commitment to Komatsu and customer safety policies, procedures - Perform all work in accordance with MSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements - Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments prior to task execution - Ensure proper Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures are followed at all times Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: - Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical , hydraulic , and mechanical systems on hydraulic shovels - Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals to isolate equipment faults - Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize repeat failures - Support failure analysis and provide detailed feedback for continuou...
