Facility Mechanic (3rd Shift)

Job description

Scope: This position will work in all aspects of Facility Maintenance, with a primary focus on fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance. The duties and responsibilities listed above may be changed or supplemented at any time in accordance with business needs and conditions. - Service and maintain fleet vehicles - Minor Fork truck and other PIV repairs - Repair and service all landscaping equipment - Small engine repairs - Complete preventative maintenance per manufacturer's recommendations on all equipment - Coordinate outside vendors for major equipment repairs - Assist electricians, plumbers, welders as needed - Assist with landscaping duties if needed - Assist with winter events, such as salting, shoveling, or plowing - May be required to work off shift or overtime as emergencies require Education and Experience: - High School/GED required - Prior experience with vehicle and/or equipment maintenance required - Vocational school education in Automotive preferred Competencies and Skills: - Welding/Fabrication skills preferred - Understan...
