This person will be an integral member of our busy chemistry lab, with primary responsibilities to sample, analyze and document plating bath chemistry. This position currently requires the ability to rotate primarily daylight and afternoon shifts. Responsibilities: Analyze plating bath chemistry for various elements, using various testing and analysis methods Monitor the variability of bath parameters & establish & modify control procedures Perform daily & weekly bath analyses on nickel, gold, copper, tin/lead and acids and cleaners Establish sampling plans for in-house material analysis to maintain statistical control and certifiability of coatings Troubleshoot chemical process control problems Test for concentrations using titration and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES), run hull cell panels on baths and make chemical and additive additions based upon the results Perform daily b...
