Country United States / US: City: HOPKINTON: Workplace location: HOPKINTON-SOUTH STREET(MA-USA): Domain: Procurement: Type of contract: Regular position: Activities: Senior Buyer/ Planner - Vlier: The Senior Buyer/Planner will be responsible for managing the on-time delivery of material procurement and outside processing service to meet the forecast, customers' order demand, and MRO requirements for the Vlier business unit. Driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve the lowest total cost, reducing working capital via negotiation planning and execution, and establishing high-growth region sourcing. Optimizing on-hand inventory and maintaining favorable Purchasing Variances. Requirements: - Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company safety procedures.
