Job Summary: Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, the Lead Person is responsible for coordinating the activities of the department to ensure efficient operations and maximize production of each employee. The Shipping Lead will support customer service and delivery activities by coordinating and directing team members. This person will focus on order fulfillment. Responsibilities: - Lead and support direct employees by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback - Communicate daily objectives and instructions from management to direct employees - Coordinate and prioritize tasks, assignments, and workflow to meet production and shipping schedules. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders - Ensure proper documentation of shipments - Ensure that new employees are safely and correctly assimilated into their position - Communicate with management and interface with leads in other areas of the s...
