DJJ is committed to excellence in public safety by providing effective interventions that improve the lives of youth, strengthening both families and communities within the Commonwealth. The special education teacher will provide quality educational programming and services through sound instruction to meet the needs of students; will develop and ensure the provisions of the Individual Education Program (IEP) are being implemented for special education students; and will comply with the standards defined under the Commonwealth’s statutes and program certification requirements.
