Technical Operations Engineer, Data Center Cybersecurity

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in system administration (Windows/Linux) and network infrastructure management (e.g., switches, firmware, and protocols). - Experience with patch management, system hardening, and security monitoring tools in an enterprise or industrial environment. - Ability to act as a working incident manager in on-call rotations, over weekends. Preferred qualifications: - Certifications (e.g., GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional), GRID (GIAC Response and Industrial Defense), Security+, or CISSP). - Experience with detection tooling (e.g., SEA or other SIEM/IDS platforms). - Knowledge of networking protocols below the management layer. - Ability to act as a Site Point of Contact (POC) for incident response and digital forensics with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
