Job description

To create standard products with reference of using customer specifications to design Powell standard products. - Design standard jobs with guidance. - Read and interpret customer job specifications. - Order materials. - Create drawings. - Transmit drawings to shop and customer. - Interface with sales, customer (with supervisor) and shop. - Completed task are check by more senior engineers. - Direct designers in completing wiring diagrams. Job Requirements: - BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or related area. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an Engineering role. - Check wiring diagrams completed by others. - Available to analyze and answer technical questions from designers. - Ability to interact on a regular basis with shop personnel. - Able to apply product knowledge and technical skills to solve simple application problems independently with minimum supervision. - Basic computer skills using Oracle, Word, Excel. - Ability to order material electronically. - Advanced drafting/CAD skills. - Proficient with electrical design and circuitry. - Able to read and interpret electrical symbols, characters, and modify drawings. - Able to apply (told by others w...
