Department: 02190 GCMG Sports Medicine: Lake Norman - Immediate Care Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Variable; Weekday 5p-9p / Weekend 9a-2p Pay Range: $34.50 - $34.50 Essential Functions: Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician. Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity. Prepares and administers contrast media as required. Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary. Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills. Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards. Physical Requirements: Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. Handles equipment and monitoring supplies. Must have good oral and written communication skills to interact with patients and hospital staff.
