Overview Apogee Engineering is seeking a full-time Senior Information Protection Specialist. This position will serve as the technical expert for multiple specialized Information Protection (IP) and acquisition security programs supporting major DoD and classified/highly sensitive USAF defense acquisition and intelligence programs. The selected incumbent will assist with providing a wide range of security management, analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by AFLCMC/WI Directorate, AFLCMC/WIN Division, and specific ISR programs. This is a full-time position located on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) in Dayton, Ohio. Responsibilities: - Administer physical, information, industrial, personnel, and OPSEC programs for assigned acquisition activities/systems, including support up to Top Secret/SCI and SAP. - Provide security guidance and technical assistance to integrated process teams across all security disciplines. - Serve as Special Security Representative (SSR) for the SCIF: vet visitor clearances, manage visitor access and open/close procedures, issue SSR appointment letters, and deliver SSR training to newly assigned government SSRs. - Manage...
