PRN Surgical Services Aide, (as needed)

Job description

Valley View is seeking a Surgical Services Aide to work DAYS, PRN (as needed). As a Surgical Services Aide, you will provide support to the surgical team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include transporting patients, preparing equipment and supplies, stocking supplies, cleaning surgical department, transporting specimens and assisting in room turnover. QUALIFICATIONS: - High school graduate or equivalent - Current BLS through the American Heart Association - CNA license or experience preferred - Operating Room experience preferred - Housekeeping experience in hospital setting preferred - Physical conditions require frequent walking, bending, stooping and squatting; occasionally sit, occasionally lift, carry, push, pull maximum up to 50lbs with assistance SALARY: - Base Rate + 14% PRN Differential Pay BENEFITS (PRN Position): - Air Ambulance Membership - 401(a) and 403(b) plans, as qualified - Employee Assistance Program - Employee discount on Valley View Services - Use of Sunlight and Aspen SkiCo day passes
