HBO/Wound Care (Full-time, Day Shift) Job Summary: The Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Technician/Wound Care Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to all referred patients. Performs specific assigned wound care activities within the State defined "Scope of Practice". Works collaboratively with all other disciplines at assigned unit. Utilizes the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program. Minimum six months experience working with wound care patients required. Minimum six months experience with billing and coding preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Strong attention to detail. Excellent follow up and communication skills. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple reporting structure. Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skills. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
