OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the Shelter Operations Manager, the Shelter Shift Leader will assure that the day to day functions of the shelters are met. Responsible to maintain cleanliness and order of Shelter building and grounds during the shift. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CLIENT SERVICES - Responsible for overall supervision of the other shelter monitors - Ensure that adequate and appropriate intakes/screening are performed - Guests are On -boarded properly - Responsible for meals being served - laundry and showers are working and available during assigned hours - Outside service providers are facilitated in their meetings with guests - Responsible for all documentation on shifts, population statistics, incident reports and staff log - Responsible for coordination of monitors and orientation of new monitors on shift - Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of all dorms, bathrooms, kitchens and sleeping areas - Assist driving in town for shelter assignments JANITORIAL DUTIES: - Supervise and or participate in the cleaning and sanitation of all office, bathroom, kitchen, and sleeping areas - Supervise and participate in the cleaning and general maintenance of the day...
