Job Title: Machinist I Job Description: Machinist I – 1st shift (3:00am-3:30pm) Entegris is currently seeking a Machinist I for our Decatur, TX facility. In this role, you will perform tasks directly related to the machining of graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialty materials. *This work schedule for this position alternates between the following 2 shifts: Week 1: Thursday-Saturday, 3:00am-3:30pm Week 2: Wednesday-Saturday, 3:00am-3:30pm. What You’ll Do: - Work is job oriented, following detailed blueprints, customer specifications, and internal work instructions. - Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties). - Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment. - Perform machine setups and/or operate equipment that is setup by more skilled operators. - Complete machining tasks within a customer job. - Routinely perform initial setup on new parts. - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. - Follow standard operating procedure...
